In preparation for severe weather season, Carver County will resume testing of the outdoor warning sirens at 1:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at 1:00 pm.
Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week this year is April 13 – 17, 2020, with statewide tornado drills scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2020, (outdoor warning sirens will be activated at 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm).
