MEETING SUMMARY – MARCH 21 CITY COUNCIL

City Council Direction for the April 18 Meeting:

• Create two additional “hybrid scenarios” to consider in addition to the safety, temporary, rehabilitation, and demolition scenarios.
  • One hybrid scenario will consider new construction costs to construct a new  “Village Hall” facility on the existing Broadway site.
  • The second hybrid scenario will consider costs to remodel the existing Village Hall to today’s standards, which would include making the building accessible to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
• Investigate the possibility of selling Village Hall.
• Research other possible short and long-term maintenance costs associated with Village Hall.
• Develop cost and financing scenarios that may impact the decision-making process.
• Investigate what types of improvements related to the ADA may need to be made in conjunction with any Village Hall work.
