A ‘FYI’ ANNOUNCEMENT
Was asked by resident to get the word out. There was going to be a special 20/20 edition report on ABC that was supposed to air on Friday, October 28th but had to be rescheduled for November 11th instead.
So what’s the big deal you ask. Well, several, the person who spread the word feels bad that the program was rescheduled and has not a way to tell everyone now. Secondly, the segment involves a local resident that is newsworthy. Remember or recall the murder of Earl Olander from East Union? He was a member of the East Union Church too. The ABC World News 20/20 program interviewed with family, residents, church members about Earl and I’m sure there is other historical value to the heritage as well. Personally, I am familiar with Olander’s contribution to the community having written the history book for the threshers’ in Jordan. Thirdly, little old Carver on World News is a big deal. So for everyone who didn’t know about the presentation, can watch or have a head’s up that one of our own will be featured on November 11th, the rescheduled night to air the segment involving Earl Olander instead of previous scheduled time of October 28th .
