Bird Watching Meeting

Carver On The Minnesota is hosting a meeting on Bird Watching at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The talk will be held at the Church By The River in Carver at 7pmWednesday January 11th. There is no cost, and there will be coffee and snacks.
Our speaker for the evening will be Suzanne Trapp. Ms. Trapp is the Environmental Education lead, and casual birdwatcher, for the Minnesota Valley National WIldlife Refuge. She has 25+ years of experience leading students, families, and visitors on a variety of outdoor explorations. She has 17 years experience working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
A native of Florida, Suzanne especially enjoys visiting the winter grounds of the birds she sees throughout the fall, spring and summer on the refuge. Mrs Trapp has spent the last 24 years in the Twin Cities and has raised 2 boys who are also pursuing outdoor careers. Her family enjoys spending time up north at the cabin, international travel, and hiking adventures throughout the country.
We hope you will join us for evening. The Refuge is a valuable resource for Carver and the region, and this is an opportunity to learn more about it.
