Letter: Time to give it back

The feds offered Minnesota a huge opportunity when they passed tax reform recently. Not only are some businesses passing direct savings on to their employees, but legislators could help all taxpayers benefit, too.

Today is Tornado Drill Day – Sirens Sounding at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

On Thursday, April 12 (Tornado Drill Day), the outdoor warning sirens will be activated two times – once at 1:45 PM for businesses, schools, and other facilitates to practice their plans, and again at 6:45 PM for late shifts and families in their homes.  Please note that the NOAA weather radios will also sound for this simulated tornado warning.

In an emergency, sirens are used to alert citizens who are outdoors of an imminent hazard and prompt them to seek additional information on the threat.
