The voices of Carly Simon, Carole King and Joni Mitchell were part of a generation’s soundtrack in the 1960s and 1970s. The Chanhassen Dinner Theatres will pay tribute to the iconic singer-songwriters on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19.

MINNEAPOLIS — Wayzata police officer Bill Mathew’s femur was broken in three places. Sixteen ribs were broken in 23 places. He broke a tibia and a fibula. His boot flew into a different lane. His shoulder was dislocated. His aorta was severed. Every organ in his body was lacerated.

James Ocenasek and Nick Morland each drove in four runs as Southwest Christian took another step toward a MCAA Conference baseball title in a 17-3, five-inning win over Spectrum May 9.

Three losses in the first five games, Holy Family Catholic has come to life on the baseball diamond, winning six straight games, including five over a four-day stretch.
