‘River’ takes audience on a trip back in time

The voices of Carly Simon, Carole King and Joni Mitchell were part of a generation’s soundtrack in the 1960s and 1970s. The Chanhassen Dinner Theatres will pay tribute to the iconic singer-songwriters on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19.

Highway 7 resurfacing begins Monday, May 14

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin the Highway 7 resurfacing project Monday, May 14. It is expected to be complete by late August 2018, weather permitting.

Woman who killed Wayzata officer sentenced to 8 years in prison

MINNEAPOLIS — Wayzata police officer Bill Mathew’s femur was broken in three places. Sixteen ribs were broken in 23 places. He broke a tibia and a fibula. His boot flew into a different lane. His shoulder was dislocated. His aorta was severed. Every organ in his body was lacerated.
