Letter: Thank you to United States Postal workers

Thank you to the United States Postal workers for their annual food drive to benefit local food shelves. Last Saturday local postal workers picked up 6,192 pounds of food donated by caring people that went to the Bountiful Basket Food Shelf of Eastern Carver County, which serves individuals from Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska and Victoria.  The Bountiful Basket is operated by volunteers and serves over 1,000 individuals monthly with nearly 25,000 pounds of food.

Commentary: America doesn’t care about its seniors

Letter: Day will not be forgotten

I would like to thank the Waconia Lions Club and everyone else involved who donated both their time and money to take Korean and Vietnam vets to Washington, D.C. on a special chartered flight. Also, the Carver County Sheriff’s Office, which provided and escort both to and from the airport.
