Minnetonka is headed back to the Class AA Girls Tennis State Tournament for the 10th time in 12 years after defeating Prior Lake 6-1 on Oct. 9. The Skippers are ranked No. 2 in Class AA.

In September, the Eden Prairie High School girls tennis team fell 4-3 to Prior Lake. In last Thursday’s Section 2AA north subsection semifinals, the Lakers defeated the Eagles 5-2.

The Spring Creek Drive access to Jonathan Carver Parkway / CSAH 11 will be closed beginning the week of October 15 to allow for the installation of new water main and sanitary sewer pipes.  The utilities work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, November 9.  Access to the Spring Creek Neighborhood will be detoured as shown in the map below.

The following agencies have been notified of this construction project:  Carver Elementary, District 112 Transportation Office, Carver County Sheriff’s Office, Carver Fire Department, US Post Office, and local sanitation haulers.
