The Ice Rink Is Open!
The ice rink at Community Park is open and ready for skaters!
New this year, the City has also set up an additional leisure rink (no hockey) in the parking lot at Community Park, which is also open and ready for skaters!
Consistent with other Covid-19 precautions in the City, the warming house will not be available for use at this time.

We’re Getting Closer…But The Ice Rink Is Not Quite Ready Yet
The ice rink layers are forming and freezing! Our staff has been flooding the ice rink late at night and early in the mornings in an effort to make the ice thicker. The warmer temperatures during the day cause delays, but progress has been made.
Although it is not ready yet, we will continue to apply the layers and hope they freeze throughout the entire surface so that it can be opened. Stay tuned…we will update you as soon as it opens. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the warm weather.

Library: Expanded hours for curbside service
A reminder that the Chaska Library has new expanded hours for the curbside service and is operating out of the new library entrance: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Chaska Fire Department Relief Association’s 64th annual ice fishing contest, typically held at Firemen’s Park in February, is canceled this year, according to Chaska Fire Department Chief Tim Wiebe.
