Twin Cities Walleyes Unlimited donation helps net fishing pier

The non-profit Twin Cities Walleyes Unlimited helped build a fishing pier on the City of Victoria’s Wasserman Lake. Funding went to Wasserman West Lakefront Park located at 9175 Church Lake Blvd., which sits on the west side of Wasserman Lake.

Emergency personnel honored at Chaska cemetery on Sept. 11

On the morning of the 20th anniversary of Sept. 11 terror attacks, volunteers placed 12 flags in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, located at 300 E 4th St., Chaska. The flags were displayed until Sunday afternoon.

Estelle Haugen, with a wide open mouth, approached teammate Mehlayna Straub following a solo block in game four. She gave her a friendly nudge. Straub responded with a large smile. Haugen came back with a “are you kidding me” look.

Boys Soccer: 90 minutes, no goals for Chaska or Chanhassen

The 2021 meeting between Chaska and Chanhassen will go down as a scoreless draw, the first since 2011. Two 40-minute halves and a 10-minute overtime session without a goal.
