Lifeguard services at Carver County beach facilities have been discontinued for 2024, according to a measure approved at the Carver County Board of Commissioners’ Feb. 6 meeting.
Virtual attendance at “open” Zoom meetings has and likely will continue to change for municipalities, including the cities of Chaska and Carver, as they battle “Zoom pirates.”
I just want to thank Gary and Sandy Cooper for all they have done for our community, and for what the entire family has meant to my family.
The Chaska/Chanhassen alpine ski teams will have one skier at the state meet. 
The season has come to an end on the ice for the Stormhawks. 
The Stormhawks will be represented at the state Nordic ski meet. 
The season continues for the Holy Family girls hockey team.

St. Bonifacius, MN – Crown played host to the UMAC leading UW-Superior Yellowjackets on Saturday February 10th and fell by a final score of 71-53.
The Trailhead facility at Theodore Wirth Regional Park in Minneapolis is ready for many of the best cross country skiers in the world — once again. 
St. Bonifacius, MN – The Polars Men’s Basketball team squared up with the Lumberjacks of Northland College and came out victorious by a score of 83-70.

At the end of the 5th Century, Pope Gelasius declared Feb. 14 St. Valentine’s Day. Since the 1300’s, the day has been celebrated with thoughts of love. The secular holiday has continued throughout the world including the Nordic countries.
His House Foundation(HHF) closed its office in downtown Chaska in December, but has become more mobile as the organization continues its mission to help those in need. 
As the Chaska/Chanhassen gymnastics team gears up for the upcoming section meet, they have been keeping busy and getting better. 
The Shakopee community is mourning the loss of yet another high school student.

St. Bonifacius, MN – Former University of Minnesota All American pitcher Autumn Pease was named the Polars pitching coach on February 5, 2023. Pease brings a wealth of playing and private instruction experience to the Crown College staff.
