Dec. 28, 1922: Chaska was without its community Christmas Tree this year. For several years the Schantizelbank Club put over this fine event but we could hardly expect the boys to shoulder the expense and work every year, and it seemed we had no one else who would undertake the project.

Letter: It shouldn’t be normal

Some have read the article in the Chaska Herald entitled “Mental health advocate McCourt criticizes handling of arrest” (Nov. 16). And more have heard me mock the Chaska Police for mistaking me for OJ Simpson. Although It’s semi-distasteful, the reality of the situation is Chaska Police have a culture that promotes institutional issues.
