We’re Working Hard To Open The Ice Rink . . . Unfortunately, It Is Not Ready Yet
Over the past three weeks, the Public Services staff has focused their efforts on creating sufficient ice to skate on, all while battling snow events and unseasonably warm temperatures. Unfortunately, the ice rink has only a thin base of ice on it so it will not be ready to skate on today. This week’s temperatures, forecasted to be sunny and in the upper 30’s and low 40’s, will further set back the opening of the rink for at least another week. Public Services staff will maintain their focus on creating ice for the rinks and provide weekly status updates.
