Eden Prairie man charged in stabbing deaths of parents
An Eden Prairie man has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder “with intent-not premeditated” after he allegedly stabbed his parents more than 20 times with a screwdriver in their home, according to charges announced on Friday, May 26.

Memorial Day through Labor Day are the deadliest days on Minnesota roads, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The 100-day stretch accounted for 120 fatalities last year, out of 392 for the entire year. That was 31 percent.
