The Black Sox
will face Union Hill in the Sweet Sixteen Game of the State Tournament on Saturday, September 2, at 1:30 p.m. in Green Isle.
The Carver Black Sox are part of the final 16 teams in the State Amateur Baseball Tournament, which started with 48 teams. Pending Carver wins, the Black Sox will advance to the semifinals and quarterfinals, which are scheduled for Sunday, September 3, in Hamburg and Norwood. The State Championship Game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, September 4, in Green Isle.
