Instead of the 3 to 8 inches of snow and the 35 mph gusts previously predicted, the agency is now predicting 5 to 8 inches of snow and winds up to 40 mph for Scott and Carver County. The warning is in effect from 11 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday and is still just a ‘watch’ in Hennepin County.
