The Carver Public Services Department is making preparations to close the Main Street Bridge (CSAH 40) in historic downtown Carver by Wednesday, June 27. The National Weather Service is predicting a crest on the Minnesota River at Jordan by this coming Friday or Saturday. The Main Street Bridge provides a crossing for Spring Creek in historic downtown Carver. Spring Creek is typically impacted with backwater from the Minnesota River when river levels are high.
