The Chaska City Council accepted the city’s 2017 finance report and the Chaska Fire Department Relief Association 2017 financial reports at their meeting, Monday, Aug. 6. The auditing company, MMKR, gave the city a clean and unmodified report.

Public Services Technician I Utilities
The City of Carver (population 4,628) is seeking a self-motivated individual, capable of growing into a supervisory position, in the area of utility operations for a growing community expected to reach a population of 10,000 by 2030. Essential functions of the position include managing, operating, and maintaining the municipal water infrastructure, wastewater, storm water, and flood protection activities.
Minimum qualifications for the position include High School diploma or equivalent, Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake and tanker endorsement from the State of Minnesota, MDH Class C Water License, MPCA Class SC Collection System License or MPCA Class C Wastewater License, five years of experience in municipal utilities, and one year of supervisory experience.
The pay range for the position, as established by a collective bargaining agreement, is $53,456 to $66,601. The position is eligible for overtime pay, as well as paid time off and an excellent benefits package.
