Public Information Meeting for the County Highway 61/Highway 41 Improvements Project
Carver County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) invite anyone with an interest in the County Highway 61/Highway 41 Improvements Project to attend a public information meeting, scheduled for October 11, 2017, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at the Chaska Community Center (1661 Park Ridge Drive, Chaska – In the Community Room). The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the improvement options under consideration for both Highway 41 and County Highway 61 in Carver, Chaska and Chanhassen. The project area map illustrates the roadway sections under study. Visit the project website at www.highway4161.com for additional details.
Open house meetings for this project were held in 2016 with a focus on downtown Chaska. Attend the open house on October 11th to review downtown Chaska recommendations and drawings of all improvement options in other areas of the study including Carver, Chaska (outside of downtown), and Chanhassen. The purpose of the proposed improvements is to address existing deficiencies and ensure safe and efficient operations on these major roadways into the future. Projects will be planned for construction in phases over the next 10+ years.
