April 29 – Document Shredding

The Carver Lions will be sponsoring a free document shredding event on Saturday, April 29.  A Shred-It truck will be on-site at Community Park, 800 6th Street West, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  There is a two box limit per vehicle.  Shredding services provided by Veteran Shredding.

Today is Tornado Drill Day – Sirens Sounding at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

On Thursday, April 20 (Tornado Drill Day), the outdoor warning sirens will be activated two times – once at 1:45 PM for businesses, schools, and other facilitates to practice their plans, and again at 6:45 PM for late shifts and families in their homes.  Please note that the NOAA weather radios will also sound for this simulated tornado warning.  Additional information can also be found at:  MN Dept. of Public Safety
