Construction Notice- CSAH 40 from Mt. Hope Road to Oak Street
What:
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has hired a contractor to line an existing sanitary sewer line and replace an existing water service in the area of the former Minnesota Valley Bulk Plant Site located south of the 4th Street East/Mount Hope Road intersection and north of 3rd Street East. This utility work will temporarily affect service to property owners in this area, and also will require a spot closure of CSAH 40 (4th Street East) from Mount Hope Road to Oak Street.
When:
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 5, 2017 and be completed by the end of the week.
Traffic Closure and Detour:
As discussed above, there will be a spot closure of CSAH 40 (4th Street East) from Mount Hope Road to Oak Street. The official detour will be CSAH 61 and CSAH 11. Documents showing the traffic closure and detour are attached.

Join Carver on the Minnesota for Their 5th Annual Canoe Trip!
On Sunday, June 18, join Carver on the River for a 3-4 hour canoe trip and picnic on the historic Minnesota River between the Jordan boat landing and Carver’s Riverside Park. Participants will leave the Jordan boat landing at 8:00 AM that morning and return around 12:00 PM.
Canoes and/or kayaks should be dropped off at the Jordan boat landing at 7:30 AM, and then participants can take their vehicle to the put-out location at Carver’s Riverside Park. From Riverside Park, you will be transported back to the Jordan boat landing to begin a fun and memorable river trip to Carver.
