Firemen’s Park receives honors

The Minnesota Park and Recreation Association (MPRA) presented the Chaska Parks and Recreation Department the Tommy Johnson award for the top project of 2016 for Firemen’s Park. The award was presented Jan. 9, according to a press release.

Free gardening classes at area libraries

A series of free gardening classes offered by the Carver-Scott Extension Master Gardeners will teach participants about seed starting, vegetable gardening, growing herbs or perennials, making a garden eco-friendly, adding shrubs to a landscape and other gardening topics.
