Scott, Carver County upgraded to winter storm warning
Instead of the 3 to 8 inches of snow and the 35 mph gusts previously predicted, the agency is now predicting 5 to 8 inches of snow and winds up to 40 mph for Scott and Carver County. The warning is in effect from 11 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday and is still just a ‘watch’ in Hennepin County.

Prince’s family receives autopsy reports
On March 22, Anoka County District Court ordered the release of rock star Prince’s autopsy reports by the Midwest Medical Examiner to his family’s attorney, according to a press release from the Carver County Attorney’s Office.

City of Carver – Seasonal Maintenance Worker – Summer|Fall
City of Carver is seeking motivated candidates for seasonal Maintenance Worker positions in the Public Services Department. This seasonal position will perform maintenance duties at city parks, facilities, athletic fields, and various landscape locations throughout summer/fall. Duties include but not limited to: mowing and weed whipping, cleaning of park shelters, maintaining playground equipment for safety, attending to flowers and shrubs throughout the city, and other duties as assigned. Operate city vehicles and equipment. Must be 16 years of age or older to apply. Must possess a valid driver’s license. The starting wage: $11.50 – $12.00 per hour; position works up to 40 hours per week; shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.
